Our Story
Her Set Her Sound (HSHS) began from an Arkansas Soul article written by founder & promoter, Rob Jordan, who discovered the top non-white and non-male DJs in Northwest Arkansas were missing support, advocacy, and intentionally-crafted spaces to be heard and show off their skills in and to our community. Seeing the need to produce a platform that amplifies and energizes her on and off the stage, Jordan crafted the first and only festival in NWA designed to allow cultural women and non-binary DJs to dominate the stage in 2021.
Since then, we encourage our audience, clients, and partners to set the trends and celebrate their sound.
